Battersea sits on the south side of the river Thames, within the London borough of Wandsworth, and is home to over 75,000 residents.

Battersea incorporates the postcode areas SW8 and SW11, and is bordered by the river Thames to the north, Clapham in the south, Stockwell to the east, and Wandsworth in the west.

There are no London Underground stations in Battersea, but the area is well serviced by bus routes into Central London, plus overground rail services from Clapham Junction , Battersea Park and Queenstown Road.
