How are your cleaners background checked & vetted?

All of our medical cleaners have a basic DBS check. If you need your cleaning to take place when patients are present, please let us know so we can supply cleaners with an Enhanced DBS check.

We have also vetted all of our medical cleaners to ensure that they have the experience to deliver a consistent, 5-star service at your medical facility.

In what areas of London do you provide hospital cleaning?

We have availability for medical cleaning all over London.

What equipment do I need to provide?

Your medical facility must have a mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner.

If you want your cleaner to use specific sprays and cloths, you need to provide these too. Alternatively your cleaner can provide their own cloths and sprays for a small fee.

How do I book at a convenient time?

When you fill out our online quote form, we'll ask you the best time for your cleans to take place.

We have plenty of cleaners available during all hours - just let us know when suits you best, and we'll get you booked in.

How do I book a one-off deep clean for my medical facility?

Once you've signed up with Housekeep, you can book deep cleaning for your medical facility through your online account.

In addition to deep cleaning, you can also request other specialist cleaning services for your medical facility, including:

Carpet & upholstery cleaning
Antiviral sanitisation
Internal & external window cleaning

What is Housekeep doing to stay COVID-19 secure?

We're following enhanced cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures, and we're asking customers and cleaners to maintain social distancing during all medical cleans.

How many cleaners will you send?

Once we have all the details about your facility, we'll work out how many hours the clean will take and then decide how many cleaners to send.

For small GP surgeries, you may only need one cleaner, while larger hospitals will require a team of cleaners.

However many cleaners we send, we'll make sure that the same highly-rated cleaners are sent to each of your cleans.

How do I ask my cleaner to wear a uniform or ID?

All cleaners carry Housekeep ID in their mobile app. If you need cleaners to carry your ID when in your medical facility, please tell us when you book.

How does holiday and sickness cover work?

In the event that your cleaner books some time off, you can instantly arrange a cover cleaner through your online account. Alternatively, you can contact our commercial cleaning support team who will be able to give you a hand getting this organised.

We also have a team of cover cleaners on standby, who are ready to help with same-day cover in the event of sickness or emergency.

To book medical cleaning, simply fill out our online form to let us know about your space. A member of our commercial cleaning team will give you a call to provide a quote and schedule your clean.

We'll send the same cleaner - or cleaning team - each time, ensuring that you receive a consistent and reliable 5-star service. After each clean, we'll bill your preferred payment card and send an invoice for easy expensing.

During each visit, we'll thoroughly clean throughout your medical facilities. We'll clean all surfaces and then disinfect 'high touch' areas, such as handles and switches. We'll tidy and clear your reception and waiting rooms, as well as cleaning and restocking bathrooms. On the wards, we'll wipe patient beds and change the sheets and pillow covers. If your facility has a cafeteria or kitchen, we'll clean all seating as well as the food prep areas. We'll finish the clean by emptying and changing the bins, before vacuuming and mopping the floors.

In addition to standard cleaning tasks, you can request deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet & upholstery cleaning or external window cleaning. We also have tradespeople on standby, who can help with any maintenance tasks that come up.

Our service is completely flexible - you can reschedule, skip and even book in extra cleans through your online account. There's no minimum term on your contract, giving you complete control over your cleaning.
