How are your cleaners background checked & vetted?

All of our school cleaners have a basic DBS check. If you need your cleaning to take place when children are present, please let us know so we can supply cleaners with an Enhanced DBS check.

We have also vetted all of our school cleaners to ensure that they have the experience to deliver a consistent, 5-star service at your school.

How do I manage term time and holiday schedules?

Once your account is set up, you have complete control over your cleaning schedule.

We understand that your school cleaning requirements are likely to vary between term time and holidays, and we've made it easy for you to make these changes through your online account. If you need a hand, our dedicated commercial cleaning team are always available to help process any changes and answer your questions.

We can also help to organise one-off deep cleaning, or specialist cleaning services, during the weekends or holidays.

What equipment do I need to provide?

Your school must have a mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner.

If you want your cleaner to use specific sprays and cloths, you need to provide these too. Alternatively your cleaner can provide their own cloths and sprays for a small fee.

How do I book evening or weekend cleans?

When you fill out our online form, we'll ask you the best time for your cleans to take place.

We have plenty cleaners available for evening and weekend cleans - just let us know when suits you best and we'll get that booked in right away!

How do I ask my cleaner to wear a uniform or ID?

All cleaners carry Housekeep ID in their mobile app. If you need cleaners to carry your ID while in-school, please tell us when you book.

How do I book a one-off deep clean for my school?

Once you've registered with Housekeep, you can book deep cleaning for your school through your online account.

About school cleaning

Our regular school cleaning service can be booked for daily cleaning, weekly cleaning or anything in between. We have highly-rated cleaners available across London to help with any of your school cleaning needs.

To book school cleaning, simply fill out our online form to let us know about your space. A member of our commercial cleaning team will give you a call to provide a quote and schedule your clean. We have plenty of evening and weekend availability across London, so we can help to organise cleaning at a convenient time for you and your students.

You can book our London school cleaning service for any educational facility, including:

We'll send the same cleaner - or cleaning team - each time, ensuring that you receive a consistent and reliable 5-star service. After each clean, we'll bill your preferred payment card and send an invoice for easy expensing.

During each visit, we'll thoroughly clean throughout your school. We'll wipe down all student areas, including classrooms, science labs, sports halls and assembly halls. Your cleaners will also sweep outside areas if required, as well as tidying any reception areas and offices. All flooring will be vacuumed throughout, and your cleaners will finish the visit by mopping all hard flooring.

In addition to standard cleaning tasks, you can request deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet & upholstery cleaning or external window cleaning for your school. We also have handymen on standby, who can help with any maintenance tasks that come up.

Our London school cleaning service is completely flexible - you can reschedule, skip and even book in extra cleans through your online account.
