Moulsecoomb is a residential suburb or Brighton, in the BN1 postcode area.

A very large suburb, the area is often broken down into North Moulsecoomb, East Moulsecoomb and Moulsecoomb, which is also sometimes known as South Moulsecoomb.

Moulsecoomb is home to one of the University of Brighton’s largest campuses, which includes Brighton’s oldest non-religious building in Brighton, Moulsecoomb Place.

Most of the housing in Moulsecoomb comes in the form of terraced & semi-detached houses, purpose-built flats and bungalows. There are also university halls, catering to the student population.

Moulsecoomb railway station is on the East Coastway Line, with direct trains running into Brighton, as well as to Falmer (home of another University of Brighton campus).
