Local information about Grays

Grays, sometimes referred to as Grays Thurrock, is a town in Essex, 20 miles east of London.

Grays is the largest town in the borough of Thurrock, and shares the RM16 & RM17 postcodes with the nearby Chafford Hundred, Chadwell St Mary, North Stifford, Orsett & Badgers Dean areas.

Although a little distance from London, Grays is within easy reach of the city thanks to regular train service from Grays railway station into London Fenchurch Street.

Local attractions include the Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, a large out-of-town shopping destination just a few miles from Grays.
