• Start by doing a quick dry dust of the mirror with a clean microfibre cloth or duster. Wipe the top and sides of the mirror frame too.
• If there are any stains or stubborn marks on the mirror, spot-clean these with a multisurface spray & a damp microfibre cloth.
• Standing about a foot away from the mirror, spray a small amount of glass or window cleaning product over the mirror. The mirror should be misty but not dripping with the product – a few sprays should be enough. 
• Starting in the top corner, wipe the mirror with a dry microfibre cloth. Work from left-to-right and top-to-bottom to ensure no areas are missed.
• For a perfect, streak-free finish – flip your microfibre and go back over, buffing any residual product. 

Top tips

• Don't use newspaper to clean mirrors or windows – this is an old 'cleaning hack' that doesn't work. In fact, the ink on newspapers can transfer to your mirror, making it worse than when you started.
• Always use a clean cloth – using a dirty cloth will smear your mirror & leave it dirtier.
• Less is more – using too much cleaning product will leave behind residual product and can cause streaks.
