Local information about Patcham

Patcham is an area of Brighton, situated a few miles north of the city centre.

The village of Patcham dates back to the 13th century, and is still home to some interesting architecture from the period. The All Saints Church, a local landmark, has a Norman interior but maintains its 13th century exterior, attracting lots of visitors to the area.

Travel in and out of the Patcham area is straightforward, as the nearby Preston Park railway station sits on the Brighton mainline. There are regular trains to London Victoria that take little over an hour. You can also walk to Brighton city centre, or catch a short bus, so the area is more-than-viable for those working in & around Brighton, or in the capital.
