Kew is an area in West London, home to the world-famous Kew Gardens, and situated within the borough of Richmond-upon-Thames.
Kew is most widely renowned as the home of The Royal Botanic Gardens, most commonly referred to as Kew Gardens. The Gardens were opened in the eighteenth-century, and have been of significant importance to the botanical world since. Currently, the gardens house 7 million species, making it the world’s most diverse botanical collection. The grounds are also home to Kew Palace, a former royal residency now open to the public.
Outside of the vast gardens, Kew has plenty to offer for those looking to settle. There are lovely period houses throughout Kew, although these do fetch higher prices than the twentieth-century builds that now compliment them. The larger period properties are often detached, with gardens and off-road parking. New build flats have begun to appear in the area too, to round off the property landscape.
Kew Gardens station received both underground (via the District Line) and overground service, so the area is easily reachable for visitors and dwellers alike. Other train connections can be made via Kew Bridge station.
The Housekeep platform has many experienced cleaners who cover TW9, throughout Kew. These cleaners have experience in all of the above housing arrangements, and have been vetted and interviewed to ensure 5-star cleaning, from the get-go.
