You can book for just one or two appliances to be tested – or you can book us to test all of the appliances in your home or rental property. We can test any kind of appliance, including:
- TVs
- Microwaves
- Fridge/freezers
- Monitors
- Any other plugged in appliance
Once we've tested your appliances we'll pass or fail each appliance & issue a PAT certificate. If any appliances are found to be unsafe, we'll advise on how you can get this sorted.
PAT testing stands for Portable Appliance Testing. It's used as a method to determine whether or not fixed appliances, consumer electronics & other electrical items in the home & workplace are safe to use.
PAT testing involves a professional completing visual inspections & other tests to check the safety of appliances. They'll then either pass or fail the appliance and provide a certificate.
PAT testing is often used by landlords & employers to ensure that they're carrying out their electrical safety obligations.
All of our tradespeople are tried, trusted & qualified for the job, with plenty of experience. And we collect reviews and feedback from every booking to ensure 5* quality.

We have tradespeople available at short notice or for advance booking. Once you’ve confirmed you’d like to go ahead, we’ll book you in at a time that works for you.
We’ll provide a detailed quote before we confirm your booking. We’ll include any parts, labour, VAT, parking charges, travel fees or other costs. If it's required, you can also request that we quote for waste disposal at the same time.
If any unforeseen or follow-up work is required, we’ll contact you immediately to make sure you’re happy to go ahead. You're in full control.

But, what about the actual job? How can you be sure the work will be completed to a 5* standard?
It’s right to ask. Pick the wrong tradesperson and you could end up with dodgy advice and dangerous electrics.
Our tradespeople are vetted and have plenty of experience with PAT testing all kinds of fixed appliances & electronics – including TVs, microwaves, fridge freezers & more. They can test just one or two electronics, or they can be booked to test all of the electronic appliances in your home or office. You name it - we test it.
We’ll provide a detailed quote before you commit to the work - including VAT, parking & travel. You can also request that waste disposal gets included, if it's going to be required. In the event that any further work is needed, we’ll make sure you’re happy to proceed before you’re billed. So you’re in full control.
