SEE LATEST UPDATE HERE: Home cleaners can work during national lockdown
The government has confirmed that home cleaners can work during the national lockdown that begins on 5th November.
The government has previously confirmed that home workers including cleaners, tradespeople & nannies are excluded from gatherings limits and the 'rule of six', and are allowed to continue working in all 'COVID alert' levels, including 'high' and 'very high'. This remains the case through the national lockdown.
We've introduced extra measures to ensure that cleaning work is carried out safely, including enhanced cleaning & hygiene procedures. You can read our full guidelines for customers & Housekeepers, here.
