Housekeep's 2021 highlights

With the year drawing to a close, we wanted to say "Happy Holidays" and a massive "Thank you" to all of the Housekeepers & customers we've been lucky enough to work with.

We're looking forward to working with you all again in 2022, and we wish you and your families a happy and safe holiday period.

Housekeep’s 2021 highlights

We launched 5* cleaning in new towns & cities 🗺️

This year, we completed our first ever cleans outside of London. Housekeep is now open in Brighton, St Albans, Luton, Eastbourne & Slough.

We won lots of awards - from trade to technology 🏆 

2021 has been Housekeep's best ever year for awards.

We picked up awards at the Global Business Tech Awards, the UKBTA, the Local Business Awards & more. Plus our CEO & founder, Avin Rabheru, was named in the Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech, plus the inaugural SME Leaders 20 list. And we were named one of Europe's fastest-growing companies by the Financial Times for the third year in a row.

We won awards for our new tradespeople services, and for building exciting world-first technology for our Housekeepers & customers.

We passed 300,000 5* reviews 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Winning awards is great. But it's feedback from our Housekeepers & customers that we really care about. And this year, we celebrated a fantastic milestone, passing 300,000 5-star reviews.

We'd like to thank our amazing Housekeepers for their hard work in helping us get there.

We celebrated our 7th birthday 🎂

In April, we celebrated our 7th birthday. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the Housekeep journey so far.

Since launching in 2014, we've become the UK's biggest & best home cleaning service – delivering millions of daily, weekly & fortnightly cleans.

But it wouldn't have been possible without the help of our fantastic 5* Housekeepers.

We grew our deep cleaning services 🧽

Our weekly and fortnightly cleaning service has been growing fast  – in and outside of London. And so has our deep cleaning service.

We've delivered thousands of specialist one-off cleans this year, including deep cleans, after builders cleans and end of tenancy cleans.

We continued expanding into tradespeople services 🔨

As well as growing our home cleaning services, we've continued to expand into tradespeople services.

Housekeep customers can now rely on us for all of their home repair & improvement projects. We've got plumbers, electricians, gardeners, handymen & more working with Housekeep – all delivering the same 5* service we're famous for.

We took part in the Great British Spring Clean 🧹

Back in June, the Housekeep Team took to the streets & parks of Islington to join in with the Great British Spring Clean.

We left the office armed with litter pickers, gloves, recycling bags & rubbish bags. We split into smaller groups, cleaning Spa Fields, Clerkenwell Green & the grounds of St. James’ Church - plus all of the streets in between.

We launched our clean new look ✨

We're on a mission to sweep across the country. To help us achieve this, we launched a clean new look in November of this year.

Our new ‘Housework that works’ visual identity and brand positioning is designed to reflect the 5-star service provided by Housekeep professionals, as well as the smart tech that helps customers manage every part of the process seamlessly - from click, to clean, to cashless payment.

We released a mobile app for our customers 📱

Alongside our clean new look, we released a mobile app for customers.

The app makes it easier to manage your cleans on-the-go. Customers can book & edit cleans, change their preferences and even chat to their Housekeeper directly through the app – making the process even easier for customers & Housekeepers.

We teamed up with a new training partner - offering free online courses to Housekeepers  đź“š

We've recently partnered with Dagile - offering free online courses to all Housekeepers.

There are plenty of courses for Housekeepers to choose from, including Creating and Publishing Web Pages, Introduction to Marketing , Programming Fundamentals & many more.
