The Drum is an international publication that covers modern marketing, agency business, creativity & the future of media. Their annual awards are some of the most prestigious in the marketing & digital space.
The category we were up for – Most Effective Use of Organic Search - was looking to celebrate an organic search campaign that delivered tangible and measurable results for their business. We were up against some tough competition in the category, including Domino’s Pizza.
We just missed out on the top prize, but our work was highly commended, receiving some great feedback from the judges. They commented on Housekeep’s mission to own the cleaning & tradespeople sector in the UK.
The whole event was streamed live and is available online: Watch the Drum Awards for Digital Industries 2022. Just skip to 49.00 to hear what the judges had to say about Housekeep.
We were nominated for our local search campaigns which help us to find hyper-local customers for Housekeep cleaners. Paired with our smart job allocation & route optimisation tech, these campaigns allow us to match cleaners with customers in a local area – increasing the time they can spend cleaning & earning, and reducing the time and money spent travelling. In total, our hyper-local tech has saved cleaners more than £10m in travel costs and saves over 1,000 tonnes of CO2e emissions each year.
As well as helping to grow our regular home cleaning service, these campaigns have been critical to our recent expansion into tradespeople services, including plumbers, electricians and handymen. These campaigns will remain super important as we continue on our mission to “own the home”.
Thanks to the Drum for a fantastic evening and the lovely shoutout. And a massive congratulations to the category winners – Reddico & the Cotswold Company!
