Finchley is located in north London, in the borough of Barnet. It is predominantly a residential area, with three town centres in North Finchley, East Finchley and Finchley Church End (Finchley Central) covering the postcodes N2, N3 and N12.

Finchley is known for being a calm suburb, with several parks and open spaces, whilst also close to central London. There is good local shopping at Finchley High Road and Ballards Lane, whilst the top-rated Brent Cross shopping mall is nearby. There are also several local golf clubs, leisure centres, gyms and libraries.

Finchley’s properties vary from the grand houses in the Hampstead Garden Suburb, to smaller terraces and flat blocks.
