Leyton is located in east London, in the borough of Waltham Forest, with a local population of around 15,000. The local parliamentary seat is Leyton & Wanstead, with local wards comprising Baker’s Arms, Leyton, Lea Bridge, Grove Green and Temple Mills, across the E10, E15 and E20 postcode districts.

The area benefits from some top transport links to central London, with Leyton station on the central line, plus train stations at Leyton Midland, Leytonstone and Lea Bridge.
