Every cleaner is English-speaking, friendly, reliable and trustworthy. They've been interviewed in-person, background-checked and rated 5-stars by their customers.
As well as being cleaning pros, they can help you with household tasks such as laundry and ironing.
Book a regular visit and we’ll send you the same trusted cleaner every week or fortnight. If you take advantage of our free key-holding service, they can even clean while you’re at work.
You manage everything online - from booking to payment. Add visits, skip visits, leave notes and book extra services including fridge and oven cleaning.

The Housekeep Story
Our senior team has over 50 years’ combined experience in building businesses for consumers. We’ve been involved in some of the UK’s most exciting start ups, like Streetcar/Zipcar, Lovespace and Crowdcube.
We don’t think a good idea alone is enough to be successful – and we’re putting our money where our mouth is. After all, there are 152 other home cleaning companies just in our postcode! Instead, we think it’s about being the best at what you do. We’re obsessed with providing quality home cleaners and matching that with better customer service than anyone else out there.
We’re a young company and we’re growing fast. We’ve been backed by some of the best investors in the UK and have won a couple of awards, but the thing we’re most proud of is our happy customers and happy Housekeepers.

Background
Before founding Housekeep, I worked in venture capital investing in and working alongside some of the UK’s most successful consumer technology startups like Zipcar, myhomemove & Kings Court Trust. I’m also an active angel investor in 40+ businesses. Prior to this, I worked in management consulting and investment banking.

What I do
I build technology to make peoples' jobs easier. For Housekeepers, that means finding ways to give them up to date instructions and the most efficient routes between jobs. For our office staff, that means creating tools that give them all the information they need to solve the problems that come up every day.
Background
I fell into software development about ten years ago as a result of my love building things. Before Housekeep I worked on at the Future Media and Technology department of the BBC, followed by a stint at Conversocial when it was still a very small startup.

What I do
I’m responsible for managing and structuring our Ops team who deliver exceptional service to customers and housekeepers. Developing systems and reviewing the customer journey from booking, to visit, to 5-star ratings. Nothing makes me happier than 5 star rated cleans and excellent reviews!
Background
Before joining Housekeep I managed a London network of training centres delivering skills and employability contracts. Exchange Group engaged with unemployed and low skilled adults helping them gain qualifications and supporting them in to employment.

What I do
My job is to help guide our team in developing the ‘right’ product for our customers and Housekeepers. Practically this means I am responsible for making sure Housekeep is easy to use, and that we prioritise the right improvements and features.
Background
I came to Product Management through design and a love of working with others to discover and solve problems. Before joining Housekeep in March 2018, I was at Addison Lee where I led the delivery of their consumer mobile app (120k users per week) and enterprise driver application (3.5k users per week).

It’s a cliché, but I really do love travelling. I grew up in Botswana and Hong Kong, so I guess that inspired my wanderlust!

I’m responsible for acquiring and retaining customers. I do that by improving the product and experience for both customers and Housekeepers. Happy Housekeepers = happy customers.
Background
Before joining Housekeep I managed various marketing channels at Addison Lee including CRM, performance marketing and their £50m taxi booking website. And before that, I set up and ran the marketing and design functions of a sporting goods SME.

What I do
I am responsible for ensuring a positive experience for both customers and Housekeepers. I do that by building a customer-centric culture throughout the company and ensuring all our team have the best tools and training to help.
Background
Before joining Housekeep I was the Customer Care Manager for Laundrapp, a multi-award winning national on-demand dry cleaning and laundry service. During my time there, I built the customer service function from the ground up whilst constantly having to evolve to keep up with rapid start-up growth.

Background
I started as a self taught developer, and worked in e-learning and telecoms before joining Conversocial and progressing to VP Engineering. Before joining Housekeep I served as Interim CTO for a variety of startups.

What I do
My day is filled with liasing with customers, both new and existing, and with our housekeepers. I talk a lot- on the phone and answering emails. I also help with operational things, such as schedule changes.
Background
Before joining Housekeep I was a cashier at a Barclays branch in Devon, where I'm from and before that I was studying for my Philosophy degree at Durham University. I also spent a few months travelling around Europe.

What I do
Help customers. Help housekeepers. Help everyone else in the office to do the same. I also spend some time trying to make the processes we use to do this more efficient.
Background
I moved over to London from Australia because I wanted to do something different and I was sick of the weather not being terrible all the time. I used to work in a bookshop in Melbourne before I was at Housekeep. I loved it, but I wasn't very busy. Housekeep could not be more different!

What I do
On the operations team we liaise between Housekeepers and customers, offering support to either party however we can. Between assisting customers with their accounts and helping cleaners with their schedules, I find some time to write fun blog posts and award Housekeeper of the Week too!
Background
Before joining Housekeep I studied English Literature at Queen Mary here in London, where I finished my studies with a dissertation on Kafka and the modern philosophical unease. Whilst a student I also worked, during the holidays, as a crew trainer at a fast food restaurant in my hometown of Stroud, Gloucestershire.

I used to work in Operations for a food delivery startup for a few years, before that I dabbled with Music Journalism and picture framing (it’s actually quite fun!) and before that I studied Journalism down in Falmouth, Cornwall.

My academic background is in Psychology with an MSc in Forensic Psychology. My professional background has been in research, customer service, and volunteering with offenders, the homeless and Dementia patients. Before joining the Housekeep office I was a Housekeeper on the platform having just returned from a year of travelling.

What I do
My goal is to use technology to continually improve the experience of our Housekeepers, customers and Head Office staff. I do this by finding problems, identifying how they can be solved with technology, then architecting and building the solutions. I'm also responsible for setting development standards and best practices in the tech team.
Background
I have been working in technology startups for ten years in various (and usually overlapping) developer, technical architect, managerial, advisory and investor roles. Prior to joining Housekeep I was CTO of Grabble, an award-winning fashion app.

I work in Operations and Customer Service. I make sure Housekeepers and Customers are happy and have all the information and help they need for successful cleans. I have also been working on filming and editing media content for Housekeep, which is coming your way very soon!
Background
I have a Masters in Ensemble Theatre, with professional experience in logistics, operations and lecturing. I am a trained chef, barman and playwright who also does a bit of graphics and video editing on the side (a Jack of all trades, if you will.) Apparently you can track my lineage all the way back to William The Conqueror! Some people even say I look like him!

What I do
My role in the customer service team consists of both helping our fantastic Housekeepers get through their day and providing high quality support to our brilliant customers. Generally, my job is to solve problems and make sure that everyone has a great experience of using the service.
Background
After studying for a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Kent, I have since dabbled in property management, content writing and charity fundraising. I still regularly volunteer with RSPB, so you might see me greeting you if you pop by their Rainham Marshes nature reserve.

I fell in love with building for the web an early age and knew it was the profession for me. Before I joined Housekeep, I worked for a consumer finance company for 4 years, helping to bridge the gap between the tech team and marketing/creative. Before that, I worked with creative agencies and as a freelance developer for 7 years.
