You pay a minimum one hour callout charge for appliance repair or installation jobs.
If it's a repair job, the tradesperson will let you know whether your appliance can be repaired once they've investigated the issue. If a repair isn't possible, you'll only pay the callout charge. The tradesperson will advise on the next steps, and may suggest a replacement instead of a repair.
If your repair or installation takes more than one hour, you’ll be charged for the additional time in 30 min increments (plus the cost of any materials).
If any materials are needed for repair or replacement, your tradesperson can source these locally and tell you the estimated cost. With your approval, they'll buy the materials and add the cost to your bill. Or you can supply your own materials if you prefer.
