Frequently asked questions

You can book a handyman for any minor repair, maintenance or home improvement project.

Some common handyman tasks include:

  • Mounting shelves
  • Wall mounting TVs
  • Fitting blinds & curtains

  • Cat flap fitting

If you need any other minor repairs, maintenance tasks or home improvement work completed, just let us know and we’ll provide a bespoke quote for the job.

If you have multiple repairs or odd jobs that you'd like your handyman to help with, that's no problem at all.

You can leave notes about as many jobs as you'd like when you first book in. You'll pay for the first hour to confirm the booking. If all of the tasks can be completed in an hour, that's all you'll be charged.

If the tasks are likely to take longer, your tradesperson will let you know the estimated completion. If you choose to go ahead, we'll add any extra time to your bill once the jobs are complete.

You pay a minimum one hour callout charge for handyman jobs.

If the job takes more than one hour, you’ll be charged for the additional time in 30 min increments (plus the cost of any materials). 

There's no hassle with cash - we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payment cards. 

When you fill out our online form, we'll ask for your address. We'll make sure that you're matched with a trusted local handyman who's based near you.

Yes - the handyman you book will be insured.

We've got great customer service, and our responsive support team are at hand to help if any issues come up during your booking.

We always have a handyman available at short notice or for advance booking. Just choose a date and time that works for you when you book in.

If there's anything wrong with the job, let us know within 72 hours and we'll come back. If the problem’s to do with our work, we'll fix it for free.

All of our handyman jobs are charged at a simple hourly rate. Just let us know what you need and we’ll give you a price. Choose a date and time that works for you and pay a one hour callout charge to secure your slot. If your odd jobs take more than one hour, you'll be charged for the additional time in 30 min increments.

If any materials are needed for the job, your handyman can source them locally and tell you the estimated cost. With your approval, they'll buy the materials and add the cost to your bill. Or you can supply your own materials if you prefer.
