New Malden is a suburban district of South West London. New Malden bridges two former-Surrey boroughs, Kingston-Upon-Thames and Merton.

As is common in London’s suburban towns, most of the period property is found closer to the town centre where Victorian development began. Into the twentieth-century, areas on the outskirts of the town were developed and these streets are now home to many family sized houses.
