Shoreditch is a vibrant area just east of central London, covering part of the postcode districts E1, E2, EC1, EC2 and N1.

The historic heart of Shoreditch is Shoreditch High Street and Shoreditch Church. Surrounding here, there are also the local areas of Hoxton, Haggerston and Old Street. The area has become one of London’s top fashion areas, with boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Shoreditch is also home to London’s technology sector, based around Old Street roundabout, known as Silicon Roundabout. Other local highlights include Shoreditch Park, art galleries and a recommended nightlife scene, spreading across Brick Lane and Hoxton.

Shoreditch’s central location means that it has very good transport links. There is an overground station at Shoreditch High Street, plus very good bus links, and it’s a short walk to the City of London.
