Box Hill is a hill in the North Downs in Surrey. Box Hill Village, situated to the east of the hill's summit, and Box Hill both share the KT20 postcode with Burgh Heath, Kingswood, Lower Kingswood, Mogador, Tadworth and Walton on the Hill. The National Trust-run Box Hill Country Park is just to the west of the village.
Box Hill Village is home to 19th century cottages and 20th century family houses, as well as a large number of mobile homes. There are also a handful of flats within the village.
Within the village there are a couple of cafes & restaurants, catering to locals and visitors, as well as Betchworth Fort Holiday Park.
The village is nearby to a number of railway stations with regular transport within Surrey and into London – Box Hill & Westhumble railway station has trains to and from London Victoria and London Waterloo, while Dorking Deepdene station, Betchworth station and Dorking (Main) station are all also closeby.
