Ilford, in the London borough of Redbridge is a town in East London, formerly a part of Essex. Ilford is comprised of multiple districts, including Barkingside and Newbury Park.

There’s plenty to do in Ilford, home to the Redbridge Museum. The museum celebrates the history and foundations of the borough, and attracts families from the surrounding towns in Redbridge. Valentine’s Park is another gem of Ilford, a large open park with a mansion set within. Of course, there are high streets for shopping too, and the town has a cinema and theatre for entertainment.

Ilford is easily accessible from central London, with regular central line service from Barkingside station. There is even a bus, the 25, which takes you from Oxford Circus all the way to Ilford.

The property landscape in Ilford is similar to much of Redbridge and this part of East London.
