We’re thrilled to announce that Housekeep was named 'Tech Company of the Year - Medium' at the UK Business Tech Awards last night.

The UK Business Tech Awards (UKBTA) celebrate the UK’s finest tech businesses, rewarding the innovative and exceptional application of technology that transforms and grows businesses.

In the category we won - Tech Company of the Year - the judges were looking for clear company objectives, creative and effective implementation, as well as tangible and demonstrable results.

We’ve picked up a couple of awards at the UKBTA over the years -  in 2018, we won ‘Most Impressive Growth’ and a year later we picked up ‘Tech Company of the Year - Small’ at the 2019 ceremony. It was a real honour to be invited back to the Montcalm Hotel in Marble Arch last night, and we thoroughly enjoyed networking with some of the UK’s most exciting tech companies.

Ever since we launched Housekeep back in 2014, we’ve been tirelessly building world-first technology to help make the lives of our customers & Housekeepers better. We’ve built job allocation & route optimisation technology that has saved cleaners over £5m in travel costs, and saves nearly 1000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.

Over the last 18 months, we’ve continued growing our market leading home cleaning service - we’re now open throughout the M25 and have recently launched cleaning services in Brighton, with more cities planned to open soon. In total,  we’ve delivered well over 1,000,000 cleans, with a 4.9* average customer rating.

As well as expanding our home cleaning service, we’ve also been busy applying our technology to new services. We’re now delivering deep cleaning and end of tenancy cleaning services for our customers, and we’ve also grown an award-winning tradespeople service in the last year.

We’re finalists at the UK IT Industry Awards, as well as being on the shortlist in three categories at the SME National Business Awards.
