Housekeep named a finalist in the Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year Awards 2022

Housekeep has been named as a regional finalist in the Spectator Economic Innovator of the Year Awards 2022

These awards are looking to reward businesses that break the mould. When choosing the finalists, the judges were searching for businesses that have innovated within their markets, helping them to go well-past their competitors. There was also a strong focus on growth since launch, as well as on the businesses' future strategy.

We’ve been shortlisted for our commitment to making housework work – for customers and for cleaners – and for the innovation that’s made that happen. Our smart tech is helping to save cleaners time & money, enabling them to earn more than anywhere else. Alongside saving cleaners millions of pounds, our tech is also making cleaning greener – reducing CO2 emissions by ~1000 tonnes each year. And with our mission to grow further into the tradespeople sector – and deliver every job in every home in the UK – we’ve got a clear strategy for future growth.

We're up against some seriously impressive competition for this award, with leading businesses from across the FinTech, GreenTech & HealthTech industries also on the shortlist. We're super excited to find out who will be taking home the regional prizes, with results announced at a gala dinner next month.

About the Economic Innovator of the Year Awards

Now in their fifth year, the Economic Innovator of the Year Awards – run by the Spectator – are widely recognised in the entrepreneur and investment communities. Potential winners are passionate about their products, determined to make a positive contribution to society, financially resilient and capable of scaling up nationally and internationally. The awards look for six regional winners — with high-profile judging panels in each region to help them choose — and one overall winner.
