Finchley is located in north London, in the borough of Barnet. It is predominantly a residential area, with three town centres in North Finchley, East Finchley and Finchley Church End (Finchley Central) covering the postcodes N2, N3 and N12.
Finchley is known for being a calm suburb, with several parks and open spaces, whilst also close to central London. There is good local shopping at Finchley High Road and Ballards Lane, whilst the top-rated Brent Cross shopping mall is nearby. There are also several local golf clubs, leisure centres, gyms and libraries.
Finchley’s properties vary from the grand houses in the Hampstead Garden Suburb, to smaller terraces and flat blocks. This mix of properties means that Finchley is home to families who have been based in the area for a long time as well as younger couples and professionals, with a mix of owners and tenants.
Finchley is serviced by multiple transport options, including four tube stations on the Northern line being East Finchley, Finchley Central, West Finchley and Woodside Park. North Finchley bus station is a hub for buses in the area. There are also excellent road links to the M1 and North Circular Road, two of London’s busiest roads.
Given its residential make up, Finchley is an area where domestic cleaning services are in high demand, both for daily housekeepers and weekly or fortnightly cleaners. Housekeep's top-rated cleaners in the area are therefore some of the busiest in London!
