Local information about Morden

Morden is a town in South West London, within the borough of Merton. Morden shares the SW19 postcode with the neighbouring districts of Colliers Wood, Merton Abbey, Merton Park and Wimbledon.

Merton is often described as a 'leafy' part of London, and the Morden area is perhaps best known as the home of Morden Hall and the surrounding Morden Hall Park, a historic manor house and park now run by the National Trust.

As well as having great outdoor spaces, Morden has an attractive property scene; period terraced houses (of which some are now converted flats) are complemented by modern housing and flat developments, allowing plenty of options to anyone looking to move into the area.

Transport is made simple by Morden tube station, which is the southern terminus of the Northern Line, as well as Morden South railway station and the nearby St. Helier railway station. There are also a number of tram stops and bus routes that connect Morden to other South West London neighbourhoods.
