Wembley is in northwest London, in the borough of Brent. It has a population of around 100,000, spread across the postcodes HA0 and HA9. It includes areas such as Alperton, Preston Road, Wembley Park, North Wembley, South Kenton, Tokyngton, plus parts of Sudbury and Northwick Park.

Wembley is most famous for being the home of English football, at Wembley Stadium. The original stadium was rebuilt in 2003-07, and the Wembley arch can be seen from across London. As part of the redevelopment work, Wembley Arena was also developed. It is the country’s biggest football stadium, with 90,000 seats.

The Wembley stadium work has prompted other redevelopment work in the area, with modern flat blocks being built close to the stadium suitable for young professionals. Wembley now also benefits from some of London’s best transport, with Wembley Park underground station, plus other near stations such as Wembley Stadium, Wembley Central, North Wembley and Sudbury Town. There are lots of other local amenities such as restaurants, bars and pubs catering for local residents and match day visitors alike.
