Frequently asked questions
Your cleaner can access your rental property via the same method as your rental guests.
If you're not present, you can set up access instructions for a hidden key, key safe or Key Nest through your online account. Your cleaner can also collect your key from a concierge, local business or neighbour if that's more convenient.
When your cleaner has finished, they'll return your key so your next guests can access the property.
Your rental property must have a mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner.
If you want your cleaner to use specific sprays and cloths, you need to provide these too. Alternatively your cleaner can provide their own cloths and sprays for a small fee.
If you'd like your cleaner to re-stock soap or other replenishables, these will need to be provided at the property. You can leave instructions about this on your online account.
You can have an unlimited number of Airbnb or short-term rentals on your Housekeep account, giving you full control of where and when your cleaning is booked.
If you have multiple properties you'd like to add, just let us know when requesting a quote - our commercial cleaning team will talk you through how you can add & manage properties through your account.
We have availability for Airbnb & holiday rental cleaning all across London.
When we schedule your cleans, we'll book you in with the highest-rated cleaners & housekeepers in your local area.
When you fill out our online form, we'll ask you when you need your cleaners/housekeepers to attend.
We have plenty of cleaners available at all hours of the day - just let us know when you need help and we'll get that sorted for you.
All cleaners carry Housekeep ID in their mobile app. If you need cleaners to carry your ID, please tell us when you book.
If you need cleaners to wear a uniform when cleaning, please tell us when you book so we can arrange this.

They'll dust & wipe surfaces throughout the property, and thoroughly clean the kitchen, bedrooms, toilets & bathrooms, as well as restocking bathroom essentials like soap and toilet paper. Your cleaner can also wash, iron & change bed linen, and will empty all bins. They'll finish by vacuuming and mopping the floors, leaving the property spick and span for any incoming guests.
