How can my cleaner access the property when I'm not there?
Your cleaner can access your serviced apartment via the same method as your guests.
If you're not present, you can set up access instructions for a hidden key, key safe or Key Nest through your online account. Your cleaner can also collect your key from a concierge, local business or neighbour if that's more convenient.
When your cleaner has finished, they'll return your key so your next guests can access the property.
What equipment do I need to provide?
Your serviced apartment must have a mop, bucket and vacuum cleaner.
If you want your cleaner to use specific sprays and cloths, you need to provide these too. Alternatively your cleaner can provide their own cloths and sprays for a small fee.
If you'd like your cleaner to re-stock soap or other replenishables, these will need to be provided at the property. You can leave instructions about this on your online account.
Can I add multiple serviced apartments to my account?
You can have an unlimited number of serviced apartments on your Housekeep account, giving you full control of where and when your cleaning is booked.
If you have multiple properties you'd like to add, just let us know when requesting a quote - our commercial cleaning team will talk you through how you can add & manage properties through your account.
How do I book cleaners for a block of serviced apartments?
If you run a block of serviced apartments, we can help with all of your cleaning needs. We can clean between your guest stays, as well as providing regular cleaning during any longer-term stays.
We're also able to provide cleaning services for the communal areas of your block - just let us know when you request a quote. Communal area cleaning includes:
- Wiping down all handrails
- Cleaning the lift
- Indoor windows
- Vacuuming all flooring, including stairs
- Mopping all hard flooring
- Tidying the postbox area
- Cleaning the concierge desk & reception areas

How does holiday and sickness cover work?
In the event that your cleaner books some time off, you can instantly arrange a cover cleaner through your online account. Alternatively, you can contact our commercial cleaning support team who will be able to give you a hand getting this organised.
We also have a team of cover cleaners on standby, who are ready to help with same-day cover in the event of sickness or emergency.
