Belvedere is a town located on the outskirts of South East London, in the London Borough of Bexley. Formally considered a part of Kent, Belvedere was brought into the newly formed Bexley borough in 1965.
The town of Belvedere has plenty of character, with lots of Victorian and Edwardian homes still standing. There are also lots of thirties semi-detached houses available, as well as some post-war purpose built flats in the area. A little way out from London's city centre, Belvedere is an affordable yet attractive town, with lots of appeal to those moving out of the city.
Commuting from Belvedere is straightforward; regular trains run from Belvedere railway station to London Bridge, Charing Cross and other Central London stations. Belvedere is also just a short walk from Abbey Wood station.
