On the Hertfordshire side of the London/Herts border, Borehamwood is a town popular with city commuters, due to its close and convenient proximity to the capital. The local Elstree Studios has put Borehamwood & Elstree on the map as the filming location of classics such as Stanley Kubrick’s 'The Shining'.
Terraced Victorian homes alongside post-war developments make the town a suitable home for a variety of demographics. As more and more people feel squeezed from inner-London, it’s likely that towns like Borehamwood will continue to grow in size and popularity, and a spate of recent new-build flats and apartments in the area reflect this change.
In London’s Travelcard Zone 6, Borehamwood & Elstree railway station makes the town a perfect residence for London workers, with frequent services to the city during on- and off-peak hours.
Borehamwood and the WD6 postcode is well serviced by cleaners on the Housekeep platform, available for one-off, weekly or fortnightly cleans. These cleaners all have domestic cleaning experience and have been rated 5-star by their existing, happy customers.
