Maida Vale is an affluent residential area in central London, based in the W9 postcode area. It is just west of Central London, with St Johns Wood and Lords Cricket Ground to the east, Kilburn to the north and Paddington and Regents Canal to the south.
The area is known for its wide tree-lined roads, with large mansion flat blocks with communal gardens. Famous roads include Elgin Avenue and Harrow Road.
