She is well organised, always informing us a couple days in advanced if she needs to move her clean and letting us know if we need more cleaning supplies. She is reliable, she has never missed a clean and when she goes on holiday gives a month of notice. Clapton is a part of the London borough of Hackney, in North East London, comprised of Upper and Lower Clapton.

As with other areas of Hackney, such as Dalston and Stoke Newington, Clapton is often described as having a villagey, community feel. The Chatsworth Road market - situated on the outskirts of Lower Clapton is a great example of this. Although not the original market, the spot has been home to such markets for hundreds of years and supports local traders and produce.

Property throughout Clapton is largely comprised of 19th-century terraced houses, mostly in the Victorian fashion. There are also more recently-built houses, as the area was the subject of significant residential development after the First World War. Most of these homes were set in estates and now contribute greatly to the varied housing stock of the area.

Clapton is well connected to other parts of London through Clapton Station. Fast trains from Clapton to Liverpool St. mean that commuters can reach Central London in less than a quarter of an hour!
