Give those two a pay rise, they were brilliant and the house looks amazing after some seriously dirty parts that now look sparkling. I am more than impressed

Local information about Woolwich

Woolwich is a Thames-side district in the South East London borough of Greenwich. Via either the Woolwich foot tunnel or the Woolwich Ferry, locals can cross the Thames between Woolwich and North Woolwich in the borough of Newham.

Despite the football club’s North London home of recent times, it is actually the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich that lends its names to Arsenal F.C. The Royal Arsenal Gatehouse is still a prominent architectural feature of the area, and is now protected by grade-II listed status.

Woolwich will be the subject of significant development in the wake of the Elizabeth Line Crossrail service. Estates in the area have already seen regeneration efforts, and new build-flats are also emerging. A selection of Victorian family homes are also available on the local market.

For transport locals are well looked after; Woolwich Arsenal station provides frequent service to the city, via the Docklands Light Railway, so Woolwich is conveniently commutable for those working elsewhere in the city. As of 2018 Woolwich also receives Elizabeth Line service through a brand new station on part of the Arsenal’s grounds.
