Enfield is outer-London’s northernmost borough, bordered by Hertfordshire to the North. The area is mainly residential, although there are also retail parks on the outskirts. The borough is popular with those who work in London but are looking for a quieter, more suburban lifestyle.
The housing landscape offers something for everyone, with small terraced and semi-detached Victorian houses contributing largely to the stock, while other Georgian homes still remain. New-build flats, most distinctively Tower Block, provide luxury housing for a new market in the area.
Great local attractions include Trent Park - a great place for locals to clear their head, or a perfect day out for city dwellers looking for an escape from city life. The park grounds are picturesque, with rolling hills, woodland and lakes. The Trent Park House, currently vacated, formed part of Middlesex University’s campus until recent years.
Commuting to Central London is relatively straightforward from Enfield, with underground, overground and railway options. Arnos Grove, Cockfosters, Oakwood and Southgate tube stations all receive Piccadilly line service frequently, while Enfield Town and others are on the London overground network.
The EN postcode area is frequently serviced by the Housekeep platform. Cleaners on our platform have all been through background-checks, and have 5-star domestic cleaning experience!
