Local information about Enfield

Enfield is outer-London’s northernmost borough, bordered by Hertfordshire to the North. The area is mainly residential, although there are also retail parks on the outskirts. The borough is popular with those who work in London but are looking for a quieter, more suburban lifestyle.

The housing landscape offers something for everyone, with small terraced and semi-detached Victorian houses contributing largely to the stock, while other Georgian homes still remain. New-build flats, most distinctively Tower Block, provide luxury housing for a new market in the area.
