Local information about Woodford Green

Woodford Green is a suburban neighbourhood of East London, predominantly within the borough of Redbridge. Historically, the area is significant as a part of the parliamentary constituency of Sir Winston Churchill: Chingford and Woodford Green. This slice of history is celebrated by a grade-II listed statue of the wartime leader that has stood on the green since 1959.

Lots of detached houses can be snapped up in Woodford Green; these range from modern, mock-tudor family homes, to Victorian mansions and postwar homes. For the younger demographics there are maisonettes or purpose-built flats throughout the area too.

Woodford Green is easy to reach due to the frequent Central Line service through nearby Woodford tube station. Plenty of TfL bus routes keep the area connected to other towns on London’s eastern edge.

The IG8 Postcode receives daily Housekeep service, with cleaners equipped for all of the above housing arrangements. These cleaners have all been vetted, interviewed and background check, as well as being experienced in domestic cleaning.
