Cheshunt is a town in the borough of Broxbourne in Hertfordshire. Around 15 miles north of Central London as the crow flies, the town lies just outside of the M25 and is part of both the London Metropolitan Area and the Greater London Urban Area. The town spans the EN7 & EN8 postcodes, which it shares with the nearby Bullsmoor, Waltham Cross & Goffs Oak.
Affordable season tickets for train journeys from Cheshunt Railway Station to Liverpool Street (services run on both Greater Anglia and the London Overground) make the town an attractive proposition with commuters. Coupled with some lovely property – including semi-detached and detached family homes, purpose-built flats and large detached villas – it's easy to see why Cheshunt is regularly cited as one of the best commuter towns to move to.
As well as having easy access to the city, there's also lots of green space around Cheshunt, notably the River Lee Country Park, Cheshunt Park and Lee Valley Park.
