Local information about Greenhithe
Greenhithe is a town in Kent. The town shares the DA2 postcode with the neighbouring village of Stone.
In recent years, the town has perhaps been best known for its close proximity to Bluewater Shopping Centre (the local railway station is sometimes called "Greenhithe for Bluewater"). As well as being home to hundreds of big name retail stores and restaurants, Bluewater also serves as a comprehensive leisure destination, with a trampoline park, lakes, parkland, a cinema and more.
The Greenhithe area has plenty of housing options, including Victorian terraced homes in the historic town. With the recent Thames Gateway regeneration throughout the area, these have been joined by a number of new-build developments – offering everything from family homes to smaller flats – particularly around the Ingress Park and Waterstone Park areas.
