This is not a grumble - but he cleaned and rearranged some shelves. He is 6 foot - i am 4 foot 9ins and now I can't reach stuff which was at the front of shelves so I could reach it with the pick-up stick. Otherwise really fine.

Kingston-upon-Thames is a borough in the South West corner of London, centred around a historic market town.

The town of Kingston-upon Thames sits upon the River Thames, and has been a settlement for centuries longer than many of its neighbouring areas, and was the first ‘Royal’ borough in London. Today, the town is home to both high street retailers, as well as an array of independent shops, many of which are quainter than those found in more central London districts. Richmond Park and Hampton Court Palace are popular destinations in the neighbouring borough of Richmond.

The charm of the town extends to its beautiful architecture, too, with Victorian cottages aplenty, as well as modern flat developments along the river. The period houses vary in size and are joined by post-war estates throughout the borough, many of which have received smart renovations and extensions to suit all needs.

Kingston Railway Station will take you to or from the town by train, but nearby tube stations at Richmond, Morden and Kew Gardens are options for those who are eager to take the underground from the town. Although a few miles away, these can be reached by bus from the town.
