We’re excited to announce that Housekeep has been named as a finalist at the UK IT Industry Awards 2021.
The BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards are a platform for the entire UK IT sector to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence - across all industries.
Housekeep is on the shortlist for the Digital Transformation Project of the Year. The award that aims to recognise the most outstanding digital transformation project that has transformed a workplace, business model, customer experience or operational model over the last year.
More specifically, our inclusion comes as a result of world-first technology that we’ve built, enabling Housekeepers to transfer spare keys between one another ‘in the field’, rather than through a central office location. This technology allows Housekeepers to save time & money traveling to and from a central office, leaving them free to earn more. Plus it’s helped us to deliver our first cleans outside of London.
We’re up against some household names in both the private and public sector for this award, with other finalists including BT & HMRC. The winners will be announced during an event here in London on Wednesday 10th November.
Speaking about the awards, Paul Fletcher, Group CEO, BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, said: “The pandemic has highlighted how central IT is to everyone’s lives, enabling us to
work, play and stay connected. These awards celebrate the best and show the breadth of creativity and excellence in the IT sector. Congratulations to Housekeep for being shortlisted, as this clearly demonstrates you are already a leader in your sector. That’s a fantastic achievement and I wish you the best of luck as you head towards the finals.”
Keep an eye out for further updates
We’re still in the running for a couple of other awards - with ceremonies for the UK Business Tech Awards & Serviced Apartment Awards already scheduled over the next couple of months.
Make sure you keep an eye out for further award-related updates off the back of those events 🤞
