Dubbed the ‘Grammys of Entrepreneurship,’ the GBEA is one of the most prestigious business awards, acknowledging the hard work and inspiring journeys of entrepreneurs across the UK. 

The GBEA recognises entrepreneurs of all kinds  - the awards’ mission is to find this year’s stand-out Scale-up Entrepreneur, Innovation Entrepreneur, Sustainability Entrepreneur and more. In the Technology Entrepreneur category, the judges were looking for those who’ve transformed their industries through groundbreaking tech. 

Avin stood out for Housekeep’s innovative approach to home services. Over the past 10 years, Houskeep has redefined the home cleaning industry, building smart tech to deliver more than 2 million weekly and fortnightly regular cleans, with a 4.9* average rating. Housekeep has helped thousands of home cleaners earn up to 50% more, and their smart tech helps to save 1,000+ tonnes of CO2 each year.

In their mission to ‘own the home’, Housekeep is now rapidly expanding into tradesperson services including electricians, plumbers, gardeners and more The business is also sweeping across the UK, and is now available in London, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester. 

This isn’t Avin’s first taste of success at the GBEA, taking home the National Scale-up Entrepreneur award back in 2019.
