Bridging the London boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and the City of Westminster, Belgravia is an upmarket corner of London, nearby to Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Park.
The housing stock of Belgravia most notably includes grand, large houses sat in Georgian terraces with classical white facades. These terraces sometimes follow the bends in the road, creating characteristically curved lines of houses. Not all single residencies - some of these homes have been converted to flats, or have separate basement flats, while others are small offices or even embassies for foreign governments. Many do remain as residencies though, and Belgravia is still amongst London’s most desirable districts.
With Knightsbridge close by, there are many options for Belgravia’s residents to shop, with the world famous Harrods only walking distance away. Belgravia is also met at one end by Sloane Square, which is enclosed by shops, restaurants and hotels, as well as being home to the Venus Fountain and a War Memorial. The area is also popular with tourists who are eager to stay in the heart of fashionable West London with some renowned attractions close-at-hand.
For tourists, residents or commuters, Belgravia is easily accessible via public transport. Knightsbridge and Sloane Square provide underground links on the edges of Belgravia, and those coming from up and down the country - or even Europe - can catch coaches or trains into Victoria, only a short distance away.
Belgravia and the SW1 postcode is widely serviced by the Housekeep platform. Cleaners on our platform are experienced, 5-star rated and background checked housekeepers, equipped for domestic services at any of Belgravia’s housing arrangements.
