Gravesend is a town in Kent, 21 miles from Central London. Gravesend is situated in the Borough of Gravesham and spans the DA11 & DA12 postcodes, which it shares with the neighbouring towns and villages of Chalk, Northfleet and Shorne.

Gravesend is home to one of the UK's oldest markets, dating right back to 1268. The town is also historically significant as a strategic defensive point along the River Thames. The foundations of Gravesend Blockhouse, built by Henry VIII to overlook the Thames, still remain as a listed monument.

When it comes to housing there's something for everyone in Gravesend. You can find everything from interwar semi-detached family homes, to Edwardian and Victorian period houses, some of which have been converted into flats.
