Bethnal Green is an area just east of Central London, primarily within the London borough of Tower Hamlets, E2. Around 40,000 residents call Bethnal Green home.
Bethnal Green was originally a location for light industry, which suffered significant damage from aerial bombardment in the Second World War. Since then, Bethnal Green has been cleaned-up, and now is part of London’s technology and internet hub, delivering innovative websites and apps.
Bethnal Green’s central location means it naturally has excellent transport; via Bethnal Green tube station on the Central Line, as well as with great local bus links. This collectively makes the area popular for young busy professionals, whose move to the area has also seen the rise in local shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. For the more adventurous, the nightlife of Shoreditch and Hoxton is nearby. There are other local places to visit such as Hackney City Farm and Bethnal Green Working Mens Club.
Bethnal Green is a firm favourite of London’s busy young professionals and so it’s no surprise that local residents have been enjoying using Housekeep to find, book and pay their cleaner. The vetted, experienced cleaners in the area also already have over 1000 5 star reviews!
