Epping is a market town in Essex, 17 miles to the north east of Central London. Epping has the postal code CM16, which is shares with the neighbouring Theydon Bois & North Weald.
Epping is a perfect stomping ground for those looking for a quieter, country lifestyle, while staying just a short train ride from the City. The Epping town centre is chock full of historic, leafy building and the surrounding area is open and leafy. Just south of Epping is – of course – the ancient Epping Forest woodland, which covers 5,900 acres of land.
For those who work in London – or simply fancy a day in the city – the Epping area is well serviced despite its distance from the city, with Epping tube station and the nearby Theydon Bois station situated right at the end of the Central Line.
