Why we’ve been shortlisted

Here at Housekeep we’ve been building the technology and products to transform the home cleaning industry. When we launched in 2014 - the cleaning industry wasn’t working.

You might find a good cleaner - if you got lucky through a neighbour or a local website. You could get your house cleaned – but you had to remember to get cash out and trust a stranger with your keys. And cleaners could find work – but they had to travel all over the place and hope they’d get paid on time.

So we set up Housekeep: to do cleaning better.

We’ve now completed over 1.5 million cleans, with a 4.8* average rating. And we’ve built technology that helps cleaners earn up-to 50% more, saving them £8 million plus in travel costs while reducing their carbon footprint by 1000+ tonnes of CO2 each year. 

Now our mission is to ‘own the home’ and become the trusted provider for all household chores. We’ve adapted our smart tech & we’re now helping customers find the perfect tradesperson for any job in their home including plumbers, electricians, gardeners and handymen.
