Housekeep CEO shortlisted for Tech Entrepreneur of the Year

Housekeep’s very own Founder & CEO, Avin Rabheru MBE, has been shortlisted for the London Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award at this year’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Known as the ‘Grammy’s of Entrepreneurship’, the awards are amongst the UK’s most prestigious awards for entrepreneurship, celebrating innovation throughout the country.

The awards recognise the diversity of entrepreneurial activity across the UK, with a range of categories, including Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year, Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year, and Disruptor Entrepreneur of the Year.

Avin's up for the Technology Entrepreneur Award, recognising the smart tech that Housekeep’s built to deliver housework that, actually, finally works. Since Avin started Housekeep in 2014, the business has completed more than 2 million weekly and fortnightly cleans to homes with an average 4.9* customer rating. Having mopped up in the home cleaning industry, Housekeep is now rapidly expanding into tradespeople services in their bid to own the home.

Avin has swept up at these awards previously, securing both the regional and national awards for Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year back in 2019.

We're eagerly anticipating the finals in the coming months, where the regional winners of each category will be named. All regional winners will then be entered into a national final later in November.

We look forward to sharing the results of the finals soon…
