Wimbledon sits in the southwest London Borough of Merton and comprises multiple wards including Wimbledon Village, Wimbledon Park, South Wimbledon and Wimbledon Chase.

The area is bordered by Wandsworth to the north, Sutton in the south, Mitcham to the east, and Kingston upon Thames in the west, and has a population of around 70,000.

Wimbledon and Wimbledon Park station are located on London Underground’s district line with trains that can reach Earl’s Court in less than 20 minutes. Wimbledon South lies on the Northern line and Wimbledon Station also offers London Overground services to Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Vauxhall. In addition to this, tram links are available in Wimbledon all the way to Beckenham Junction stopping at East Croydon station.
