Lying on the periphery of London, Barnet is a borough on London’s northernmost edge, bordering the neighbouring county of Hertfordshire. The borough is green and open, with spaces such as Moat Mount providing a venue for outdoor recreation in the borough. There are also three golf clubs: Mill Hill, South Herts, and the Metro Golf centre, and other attractions such as the RAF Museum.

London’s second-most populated borough has, as expected, a variety of housing options. Period properties in the Victorian and Edwardian fashions are found in the borough: detached, semi detached or set in terraces. Interwar suburban development has meant there are also semi-detached houses from this period on the market. New-build apartments and houses complete the property landscape of the borough.

The borough is serviced by no less than 13 tube stations - Brent Cross, Burnt Oak, Colindale, East Finchley, Edgware, Finchley Central, Golders Green, Hendon Central, High Barnet, Mill Hill East, Totteridge & Whetstone, West Finchley and Woodside Park tube stations - so transport and commuting is no issue.
