Colliers Wood has fine period architecture, with Georgian and Victorian terraced houses of varying size. Development in the area hasn’t stopped either, with housing developments from recent decades now being joined modern new-build flats, apartments and houses. The Brown and Root tower block in the suburb, once infamous for its unpleasant aesthetic, has recently been transformed into yet more smart housing for local residents.
